The REAP (Re-Engaging in Education for All to Progress) Program is designed for students in grades 8-12 who have encountered events that led to them being behind academically and need a way to attain their desired goal of middle school promotion or achieving a high school diploma. It must be desired by all parties as a potential option and is not a placement.
REAP is a fast-paced instructional option that uses flexible scheduling to allow students to successfully earn missed credits and get back on track to meet their goals.

Selection Criteria
Students must be enrolled in Jackson Public Schools the semester prior to Fall evaluation. Primary enrollment takes place during the Fall semester of each school year. Secondary Spring semester enrollment occurs with a reduction in the potation of available credits during mid-school year nd only on a case-by-case basis.
Students must have been retained two or more years without promotion during the subsequent summer or during he prior school year.
Students may not be suspended or pending a disciplinary hearing at the time of enrollment.
Students must not have excessive disciplinary infractions, including but not limited to, violent actions against school staff/officials.
The student and parent will also be asked to participate in an interview to assess readiness and supports necessary for a fast-paced academic program.
